ATI Performance Products is proud to introduce its Super Damper for the Isuzu 3LD1 3-cylinder diesel engine found in popular Cummins Onan 12.5KW Generators. ATI Part #917182 is a 4.93-inch steel shell damper with a single V-belt drive (125mm x 18mm replacement size) in the outer shell and is a direct replacement for OEM Cummins Onan Crankshaft Pulley Part #512-0261 and Isuzu Part #8-97226831-0. The damper comes marked for TDC, features a single OEM-sized .276-inch keyway in the steel hub, and exceeds SFI 18.1 Certification—just because that is the only way we know how to build them!

The ATI Super Damper is synonymous with the highest quality dampers found in the aftermarket high performance engine world. OEM dampers are optimally tuned to a narrow band of “perceived normal operating conditions” and do not perform well outside of those limits. For example, the OEM damper does not perform well during start-up and shutdown of your generator. The OEM damper is also a common single elastomer strip design that holds the v-belt drive to the rest of the damper. When the rubber fails, the damper fails and possibly your engine fails as well. The ATI Super Damper can handle any engine speeds and operating conditions that get thrown at it to better protect your generator engine, and even better, you can have it rebuilt during an engine work or overhaul.
