ATI Performance Products is proud to introduce three new Super Damper for Junior Dragsters and other Briggs based engines such as the ZR3, ZR4, Rhino, Terminator and other 4 cycle engines. The benefits of a properly tuned and functioning crankshaft harmonic damper have been proven over and over for more than 100 years, and ATI has finally provided that benefit for the Briggs & Stratton platform.
These dampers come marked with 360 degrees of timing marks to set base timing with your own timing pointer. The outer shell and hub are both made from hard anodized 2024 Billet Aluminum. The keyway is a snug fit for no slop and we have a new, very simple +/- 2 degree timing change system along with easy to read 1 degree changes allowing +/- 6 degrees of adjustment. A Rare Earth magnet provides optimal Gauss readings and Magnetic flux fields so the coil armature or PVL can create an optimal spark for these powerful small engines. The magnet holder and balance blocks are also made in house and roll pinned in place. Oh and these dampers are SFI 18.1 Certified, just because that is the only way we know how to build them!
These Dampers fit the following applications with more applications available soon:

The ATI Super Damper is synonymous with the highest quality crankshaft dampers found around the world. Engines that have no crankshaft damper often suffer failures of oil pump drives, camshafts, external accessories and of course crankshafts at a much faster rate than dampened engines. The ATI Super Damper can handle any engine speeds and operating conditions that get thrown at it to better protect your engine, and even better, you can have it rebuilt at any time. No matter how many cylinders the engine has, the ATI Super Damper will help promote your platforms longevity and performance.
