ATI Outlaw racer Billy Gordon broke the track record at Shadyside this
weekend with a 4.21 @ 188 MPH, making his 10.5 Twin Turbo Mustang the
Quickest & Fastest Powerglide 10.5 car in the world! Billy took the
top spot in qualifying with a 4.31 @ 182 MPH and went on to take the win
over Mike Martin in the final. Using an ATI Superglide, Outlaw Converter
with Super F ATF and a Super Damper, Gordon has qualified #1 four times
this year with wins at Rockingham and Cecil County.
Congrats to ATI X275 racer “Mean” Dean Marinis. He qualified
#1 and took the X275 class win at the Logan Johnson Memorial Race at Virginia
Motorsports Park this past weekend. Dean put in a qualifying pass of 4.816
@ 149 MPH and followed that up in eliminations with a 4.82, 4.81, 4.80
and a 4.79 @ 151.3 MPH in the final round to take the win over Russell
McManious! Dean uses an ATI Transmission, Treemaster Converter with Super
F ATF and a Super Damper on his X275 Big Block Nitrous Mustang.
With a best pass of 4.80 @ 149.31, Rich has been on fire this year taking
two wins in the same day at ATCO and a win at The Shakedown at E-Town
in an all ATI final against Dean Marinis. Rich runs an ATI Superglide
4 Trans and 10” Outlaw Converter with Super F ATF behind his Supercharged
small block Ford with an ATI Super Damper.
At the recent Ultimate Outlaws event at MIR, Justin’s nitrous-fed
LSX Camaro reset the record for the fastest small block nitrous X275 car
in the world with a best pass of 4.85 @ 146.6 MPH! Running an ATI Superglide
1 trans, with Super F ATF and a 9” Fuel & Blown converter as
well as an ATI Damper, Justin has claimed four X275 event wins this season,
including the Radial Redemption in Valdosta and the ORTC Redemption race
at SGMP.
