Mechanical Engineer - Performance Racing

ATI is celebrating over 60 years and still growing! Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer? Do you like fast cars, but also like to design them to make them go even faster?  Then we need you to join our team!

ATI is searching for more talent to add to its engineering staff designing new automotive drive train parts, updating existing designs, and supporting our in-house manufacturing, assembly, and quality teams. Our engineers work closely with our production floor personnel and our machine shop staff to design and build quality American-made parts and assemblies.

IN PERSON POSITION *Must be onsite to work with the team*
Job Responsibilities:

• Work in a small team environment to design and develop complex high-precision performance automotive parts and assemblies
• Lead in multiple development projects in a fast-paced design engineering production environment
• Self-motivated to consistently meets deadlines and requests
• Track designated projects parts from creation request to production
• Support quality control department and production personnel as required

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 10 years’ experience in product development
• Proficient with 2D and 3D modeling, (Autodesk Inventor preferred). Follows best practices to develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, material selection, heat treatment, etc.
• Perform and document stress calculations, FEA simulations, tolerance stack-ups to support design work. Knowledge of DFM/DFA, machining, welding, assembly considerations for design
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, hardness tester)
• Strong attention to detail when switching between adjusting priorities
• Willing to explore multiple options to provide best solution
• Good feed-forward communication skills
• Able to design for manufacture
• Able to work as in a team or independently as required in a small shop environment

Bonus Qualifications for Exceptional Candidates:

• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Experience programming and operating additive manufacturing equipment
• Experience with SAP and/or PLM software
• Experience with robotic material handling
• Knowledge of automatic transmissions / torque converters a plus
• Automotive mechanical knowledge-strongly encouraged

Machinist-Manual Converter Department

FRONT DESK ADMIN/RECEPTIONIST


Position Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced, friendly, and professional Front Desk Admin/Receptionist to manage our reception area and front desk. As the receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our company and will be in an essential, front-line position. This position will be responsible for and have a heavy focus on answering and directing inbound calls. You will have limited contact with the public but as the first person to greet our guests, you will need to be welcoming to all who visit the office. In addition, you will coordinate and manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to clerical duties, distributing correspondence, assembling marketing materials and supplies, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly front reception area.

What We Offer:

Responsibilities:

• Answer, filter and prioritize phone calls and emails.

Qualifications:

• Experience with multi line phone systems and volume call handling.

• Must have ability to multi-task and have time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Reliable and punctual **Must be able to work a 40 hour a week schedule.

Facility Manager- Maintenance Mechanic

ATI Performance Products is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our secure, newly renovated, 100,000 sq. ft., facility. ATI has a hard-working team made up of some of the top talent in the industry, and our climate-controlled manufacturing facility is filled with the highest quality, cutting edge, state-of-the-art machining equipment used to build the parts that move America’s fastest cars.

The Facility Manager and primary Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled trades to support mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning machinery, as well as other repair tasks and maintenance such as plumbing, doors and locks, floors, roofs, etc. and structural components. In this very diverse position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery, as well as maintaining our building. Your expertise in mechanical repairs and maintenance will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.

Maintenance Mechanic position operates Mon-Thurs 7:15am-4:30pm and Fridays 7am-12:00pm.
Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:

• 5 years of experience working in building operation and maintenance
• Experience with electrical projects such as outlets, lighting etc.as well as other tasks
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment
• Team oriented, with effective and clear communication skills as well as follow up
• Basic plumbing knowledge for sinks, toilets, and water fountain maintenance
• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Must meet the requirements of the occupation such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling, and climbing 30 ft. ladders with no restrictions
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Must have a stable work history
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

 Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic:

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment as directed and keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory
• Liaison to all outside contractors and inspectors
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: Hydraulic Equipment, Pneumatic Equipment and Electrical Motor Controls, building and grounds (no landscaping), and other various equipment/items
• Repairs, maintains, and installs machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, manuals, and manufacturers specifications. Includes, but not limited to, pumps, fans, motors, valves, piping, controls, dampers, etc.
• Equipment maintenance includes preventative maintenance such as greasing machines, cleaning out sumps and chip conveyors, filter changes on HVAC units, as well and any normal building maintenance inside and out including backup snow removal and salting
• Must be able to maintain a team environment with all other employees and departments while providing a high level of service and accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision in a timely manner
• Enforces OSHA work standards
