Jr Dragster Flywheel Super Dampers
ATI Performance Products is proud to introduce three new ATI Super Dampers for Junior Dragsters and other Briggs & Stratton, ZR3 and ZR4 based flathead engines. The benefits of a properly tuned and functioning crankshaft harmonic damper have been proven over and over for more than 100 years, and ATI has finally provided that benefit for the Briggs & Stratton platform.
The damper comes marked with TDC and more timing marks to set base timing with your own timing pointer. We feature a 2024 billet aluminum hub that has been hard anodized. The keyway is nice and snug for no slop and we have an all new, very simple +/- 2 degree timing change system. The outer shell is again 2024 billet and is black anodized. A Rare Earth Magnet provides the strong Gauss reading and proper magnetic field, so the magneto ignition system can create the optimal spark for these powerful small engines. The magnet holder and balance blocks are made in house and roll pinned in place. Oh and these dampers are SFI 18.1 Certified, just because that is the only way we know how to build them!
